James Julia's fall auction includes superb examples of the most desirable firearms. Pictured is one of them, an 1866 Winchester with masterpiece engraving by Conrad Ulrich. It carries and estimate of $250,000 to $500,000. Many prominent collections are in tow thousand lots offered. Spectacular lots include a naval Gatling gun, Annie Oakley’s shotgun, and a Wheelock made for royalty as well as superb collections of Lugers, Colts and Sporting doubles.
Other lots offered include the Carmen Gianforte collection of Reid Knuckleduster pistols, guns from the Robert Cox collection of Colt House pistols, many with rare DeGress grips, Henry Derringer dueling pistols, a unique Warner brass fame carbine, Winchester advertising, a full auto FN Mini-Mi, 19th century American Indian dag knives, and a fabulous collection of schuetzen rifles.
