Day one features a spectacular array of rare shotguns and sporting atms, including an exceptionally rare Parker A1 Special 12 gauge—one of only two ever made—complete with original 34" barrels. Collectors will also have the opportunity to bid on an incredible 28 bore Beretta SO10 EELL, masterfully engraved by Beretta’s own engraver, Trentini, as well as a Armi Desenzani 20 bore O/U and a Parker GH Grade 16 gauge with original 40" barrels and documented provenance from Walter Chrysler Jr. Additional highlights include a true pair of Perugini & Visini 20 bores engraved in a fantasy theme by Tomosani, a magnificent James Purdey & Sons 20 bore O/U game gun, and a rare heavy proof Holland & Holland Royal Hammerless Ejector pair.

Day two shifts focus to antique arms and fine sporting art, including  a museum-quality matching pair of rifles by Josef Fruwirth of Vienna, circa 1770, and a remarkable 1670-dated German wheellock rifle. Also crossing the block is a powerful 4-gauge by John Lovell and Hitchcock & Muzzey, certain to interest collectors of large-bore firearms. Rounding out the sale is a curated offering of decoys and sporting art. Click on the image for a link to the sale
