CZERNYS: FINE ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOUR, DEC 8th
Czerny’s Arms and armour sale of December 8th includes a wide selection of attractive lots. There several full and ¾ amours offed as well is helmets such as the Italian example pictured. Top lots include a complete period Maximilian example, and early salet and a rare funery helm. Among the pistols in the sale are a Wheelock puffer and a scarce Lorenzoni repeating flintlock.
Swords in the sale include several early knightly swords, a rapier from the Napoleon III collection, presentation European sabres and fine examples of Ottoman and Indo-Persian highly decorated Yatagans, Shamshirs, Patas and an important Tegha.

ANTIVITY PRAHA, ANTIQUES, ARMS AND ARMOUR, DECEMBER 1st
Antikvity Praha’s next online auction finishes Dcember 1st and includes a fine selection of rare and fine arms and armour as well as fine antiques. Among the lots carrying higher estimate are a fine double percussion rifle by Anton Kehlner of Prague and a superb double flintlock sporting shotgun by Vignat of St. Etienne. Other fine guns in the sale include a highly inlaid Saxon or Bohemian Wheelock, mid 17th cent and a pair of percussion over and under officer’s pistols by Caron, Paris C 1860.
Edged weapons in the sale include early rapiers and broadswords, among them a Munich Town Guard’s example, as well as several later Pallasch and a rare example of and Austrian 1769 heavy cavalry troopers sword which became the model for the British 1798 model.
