ROCK ISLAND AUCTION: ARMS & ACCESSORIES: JULY 10th

Rock Island Auctions Arms & Accessories sale of July 10th is one of two sales preceding the Premiere August sale. It includes many desirable and fine lots that so buyers do not need to wait until August to reward themselves. Leading the sale is a H&K SO5-K PDW pistol with an estimate of $3500-5000. A H&K P7 M8 with original box is also crossing the block. Military collector will also take note of the FN Herstal FS2000 rifle and the Robinson Armament M96 riles in the catalog.

For sporting shooters, a lovely engraved Rizzini Artemis O/U in 20 ga, an Aguirre y Aranzabal double in 28 ga, a French Verney Carron Sagittaire as well as a Beretta Model 470 EL double will, no doubt, catch a some eyes. Western collectors will like the second-generation engraved Colt SAA and Colt Wyatt Earp SAA with stock. There are a total of 988 lots offered in all prices ranges and the catalog includes a few unusual gun lots such as the WW2 era Edison M9 Arial Gunnery BB trainer and the 19t C European stock reservoir exposed lock air rifle. CZERNY'S AUCTION: AMERICAN FIREARMS, ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOUR JUNE 19th-21st

Czerny’s June sale includes three days of antique Firearms, militaria and arms and armour. The first day starts with a collection of American guns. Among the US pistols selling are scarce Colt first, second and third Model Dragoon revolvers, as well an a S&W Russian 3rd model and a Butterfield revolver . American longarms offered include a Winchester model 1886, a 73 carbine and several model 1873’s.

On the second day a range of early arms and antique amour will be offered with an Italian embossed parade shield carrying the top estimate of 1600 euro followed by a rare Scottish two-handed sword, a Moghul jade hilted and jeweled dagger and a north Italian hand-and-a-half sword C. 1550. This day also includes many fine pieces of militaria, among them a rare Polish Chapka of the 7^th lancers. Edged weapons firearms and armour from around the world representing different historical epochs fill out the extensive catalog. Day three continues with some spectacular antique guns and edged weapons including a rare Saxon puffer, a superb polish hussars sabre and the fine pictured pair of French flintlock over and under pistols, C. 1700, by Boiron.
