ROCK ISLAND REGIONAL AUCTION, JUNE 24TH-26TH
Rock island regional Firearms auction spans june 24th to 26th. A total of 3400 lots will be offered. One of the rarer non-firearm lots in the sale that will attract interest is a framed $500 Reward Notice for Billy the Kid issued by Governer Lew Wallace of New Mexico. Another high end cased gun in the sale is a fine DWM luger carbine with detachable stock. Longarms include a Winchester model 1866 manufactured in 1869 with engraving and a design based on the Mexican coat of arms. For sporting collectors a Belgian Browning Diana grade superposed shot is one of many good shotguns crossing the block.
