Rock Island Auction Company’s premier sale will be held over three days, starting December 6th. Among the world-class classic collectible American firearms to be offered are an outstanding Presentation Cased "Colt Baby Paterson" No.1 Pocket Model Percussion Revolver, a documented factory presentation "JTC" serialized Colt Single Action Army Revolver in .44 Russian, presented to U.S. Sub-Inspector John T. Cleveland, an rare black powder Colt "Pinched Frame" Single Action Army Revolver, an iconic and historically significant C Company No. 81 U.S. Colt Model 1847 Walker Percussion Revolver, and an outstanding historic documented Civil War Presentation Cased Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver with a factory presentation inscription to Dr. Milhau from Colt Vice President R.W.H. Jarvis.
Outstanding offerings among the sporting shotguns and rifles include a superb trio of Pedretti-signed and engraved J. Purdey & Sons 28 Gauge Round Body Trigger Plate O/U guns, a factory engraved Boss & Co.
